JAN KONFERANS YO RIVE LANSE

HOW HAVE THE CONFERENCES BEEN LAUNCHED?

Men yo pa t dekouraje.

Members of the ITIAHaiti held a first meeting on Zoom on Sunday, August 2, 2020. In this meeting, participants got to know each other and learn a little bit about the history of the organization's creation. Wilson Thelimo Louis said that ITIAHaiti is an organization created to help young people materialize their knowledge, revive the Haitian culture, support the youth to strengthen their leadership, and encourage them on the path of entrepreneurship and arts.

The organization president spoke about the creation of ITIAHaiti, which began in 2008 with young writers and artists living in southern Haiti to achieve many social and cultural activities. They believed that together they would be quicker and more successful with their goals. Despite their vision, it wasn't easy to get guidance from business people and community leaders. But they were not discouraged. Instead, they gathered everything they had to invest in their potential.

Promoting the Creole language and supporting other associations working for Haiti's development is part of ITIAHaiti's objectives. That is why ITIAHaiti has become a national and international idea to reach more young people today. At this Zoom meeting, ITIAHaiti members found it necessary to continue to meet every last Sunday of the month.
